    Abstract: An aqueous coating solution is sprayed into the interior of the reactor. After the aqueous coating solution has been sprayed, steam is injected and condensed within the reactor. Upon polymerizing a vinyl chloride-base monomer composition in the reactor after having been treated, the formation of deposits of polymer on the internal surfaces of the reactor is substantially reduced and even suppressed.
