    Abstract: An artificial fingernail tip having a body portion with an underside surface and outer surface. The underside and outer side surfaces extend between a leaning and a trailing end. A security element is positioned between the leading end and the trailing end and extends from the underside of the body portion and towards the trailing end. The security element is a projection constructed to define a slot which receives a user's natural fingernail to resist attachment.
