  • Publication number: 20160366481
Abstract: The present disclosure relates to technologies for sensor networks, a machine-to-machine (M2M) interface, machine-type communication (MTC), and an Internet of things (IoT). The present disclosure may be used in intelligent services (e.g., a smart home, a smart building, a smart city, a smart car, a connected car, health-care, digital education, a retail business, security and safety-related services, etc.). A service-oriented input and output method and apparatus for a smart control system are provided. The method includes receiving a hot key input from a remote controller, transmitting a command corresponding to the hot key input to a device corresponding to the command, receiving a processing result according to the command from the device, when a display is inactivated upon reception of the processing result, activating the display and outputting a message according to the processing result through the display, and inactivating the display after the output of the message is ended.

  • Patent number: 8032770
Abstract: A video processing apparatus and a control method thereof are provided. The video processing apparatus includes: a processing unit which processes a video signal for display; a clock generating unit which generates a system clock for driving the processing unit and outputs the system clock to the processing unit; a power supply unit which supplies power to the processing unit; and a controller which counts a power supply time using a clock generated from the system clock. The controller compares the counted power supply time with a predetermined reference time, and controls power supplied to the processing unit from the power supply unit.

  • Patent number: 7936334
Abstract: A displaying apparatus includes a signal input unit through which an analog image signal is input, an A/D converter to convert the analog image signal input through the signal input unit into a digital image signal according to a preset offset value thereof, a monitoring unit to sense a generation of an abnormal operating condition of the A/D converter, and a controlling unit to store information on a desired reference digital image signal corresponding to the preset offset value, to compare the digital image signal output from the A/D converter with the desired reference digital image signal information when the generation of an abnormal operating condition of the A/D converter is sensed by the monitoring unit, and to the preset offset value of the A/D converter when the digital image signal output from the A/D converter is different from the desired reference digital image signal, so that the digital image signal output from the A/D converter matches the desired reference digital image signal.

  • Publication number: 20070013689
Abstract: A display apparatus includes an up stream port to which an external control system is connectable, a down stream port to which a peripheral device is connectable, a USB hub to transmit up stream data from the up stream port to the down stream port, a USB power supply to supply power to the USB hub, and a USB power controller to sense whether the external control system is connected to the up stream port, and to intercept the power from the USB power supply when the external control system is not connected to the up stream port. Thus, the display apparatus can satisfy standards of power consumption regulated by an EPA in an off mode of a DPMS.
