  • Patent number: 7215505
Abstract: A pole base assembly for a magnetic recording/reproducing apparatus for guiding a tape drawn from a reel through a predetermined path in parallel or substantially in parallel toward a lead surface of a head drum. The pole base assembly comprises a pole base disposed to approach and retreat from a side of the head drum when the tape is loaded and unloaded, respectively, a sloping pole disposed to be sloped on the pole base, to be parallel or substantially parallel to the lead surface of the head drum, for guiding the tape fed to the head drum at a predetermined angle, to be parallel to the lead surface, and a supporting holder disposed on the pole base, and having a sloping part to support the sloping pole to be inclined at a predetermined angle.

  • Patent number: 7191971
Abstract: Disclosed is a reel clutch of a tape recorder. A plate spring is positioned between a reel gear and a reel disc of a reel disc assembly which is mounted on a deck of a tape recorder, and a stopper reel is provided on the reel disc to restrain the engaging height of the plate spring so that a torque is generated by the frictional contact between the reel disc and the plate spring, whereby assembly productivity can be enhanced and manufacturing costs can be reduced.

  • Publication number: 20060103986
Abstract: A head drum assembly for a magnetic recording and reproducing apparatus that records information onto a recording medium or reproduces the recorded information from the recording medium includes a stationary drum mounted to a deck chassis, a shaft fixed to a center portion of the stationary drum, a rotary drum rotatably fixed to the shaft and having a plurality of heads for recording and reproducing the information with respect to the recording medium, and an airflow groove disposed at an uppermost stream in a running direction of the recording medium and proximal where the stationary drum contacts the recording medium. The airflow groove communicates with an inner space of the stationary drum and an outer circumference of the stationary drum that is adjacent to the rotary drum. The air flowing between the stationary drum and the rotary drum during rotation of the rotary drum flows toward the recording medium through the airflow groove.
