  • Publication number: 20240120141
Abstract: The present specification relates to a coil substrate. A coil substrate according to one embodiment of the present specification comprises: a substrate; and a coil which is mounted on one surface of the substrate and comprises a plurality of turns, wherein the plurality of turns comprise a first inner turn located at the innermost side of the coil and a first outer turn located at the outermost side of the coil, wherein the first inner turn comprises a greater number of patterns than the first outer turn.

  • Patent number: 11265975
Abstract: The present disclosure relates to an induction heating device and a method for controlling the same. In accordance with the present disclosure, first, inductive sensing is periodically performed to detect a specific object with inductive heating property. Next, current sensing of the specific object having the inductive heating property is performed to again check whether the specific object has the inductive heating property. Thus, when the user simply places the loaded object on the device, the device may allow the user to quickly and intuitively confirm whether the corresponding loaded object has the inductive heating property.

  • Patent number: 11202345
Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a loaded-object sensor and an induction heating device including the loaded-object sensor. The loaded-object sensor has a cylindrical hollow body with a sensing coil wound on its outer surface. Further, a receiving space formed inside the body of the loaded-object sensor accommodates a temperature sensor. The loaded-object sensor is concentrically provided in a central region of the working coil. The sensor may measure the temperature of the loaded object while discriminating a type of the loaded object placed on a corresponding position to the working coil.

  • Patent number: 10869365
Abstract: The present disclosure relates to an induction heating device. A loaded-object sensor according to the present disclosure is arranged concentrically and centrally in the working coil. Thus, the sensing coil and the working coil are adjacent to each other. When a current for the heating operation is applied to the working coil, an induction voltage is generated in the sensing coil by magnetic force generated by the current applied to the working coil. According to the present disclosure, a resistor circuit is used to reduce the induction voltage generated in the sensing coil when the heating operation of the working coil is performed.
