  • Patent number: 11942264
Abstract: A coil component includes a body having a first surface, and a first end surface and a second end surface connected to the first surface and opposing each other in a length direction; a support substrate disposed inside the body; a coil portion comprising a first coil pattern and first and second lead-out patterns, each disposed on a first surface of the support substrate; first and second slit portions, respectively defined on edge portions of the first surface of the body to expose the first and second lead-out patterns; and first and second external electrodes disposed on the first and second slit portions to be connected to the first and second lead-out patterns. At least one of the first and second lead-out patterns has a thickness greater than a thickness of each of the first coil pattern and the first dummy lead-out pattern.

  • Patent number: 11429314
Abstract: A storage device includes; an interface receiving data and a corresponding LBA from a host, wherein the data includes at least one of first data having a stream ID and second data lacking a stream ID, a nonvolatile memory (NVM) device including at least one nonvolatile memory configured to store the data, and a LBA predictor configured to provide a predicted stream ID for the second data using a neural network model operating in response to at least one feature associated with LBA values received by the storage device from the host, wherein the first data is stored in the NVM device using the stream ID, and the data is stored in the NVM device using the predicted stream ID.

  • Patent number: 11182104
Abstract: In a method of operating a storage device, the storage device includes a plurality of memory blocks. A data write request and target data to be written are received. Using a data classifier, such as a neural network model, the target data is assigned to a stream selected from a plurality of streams based on a data property of the target data. The target data is written into a memory block assigned to a stream selected for assignment of the target data, such that target data that has been assigned to a stream are written into the one or more memory blocks assigned to the stream.

  • Patent number: 10896126
Abstract: Garbage collection is performed according to an estimated number of valid pages. A storage device estimates a valid page count at a future time based on a valid page count at each of past time steps and a present time step using a neural network model and selects a victim block that undergoes the garbage collection from memory blocks based on an estimated valid page count. A memory block having a lowest estimated valid page count or having an estimated valid page count having a maintaining tendency is selected as the victim block or a memory block having the estimated valid page count having a decreasing tendency is excluded from selecting the victim block.

  • Patent number: 10649896
Abstract: A data storage device and a method for operating the data storage device are disclosed. The data storage device may include an interface receiving a command and data from a host, a cache temporarily storing the received data, a memory non-temporarily storing the data stored in the cache, and a controller controlling the memory and the cache based on the command received from the host. The command may include charge rate of a battery supplying a power to the data storage device. The controller may determine whether or not the data storage device is an idle state, and determine an active operation mode of the data storage device based on the charge rate of the battery, when the data storage device is the idle state.
