Abstract: A clothing dryer including a cabinet; a drying tub that is disposed in the cabinet and accommodates laundry; a drying shelf disposed in the drying tub; and a supporting member disposed to support the drying shelf and provided to be movable at a first position in which one side of the drying shelf is supported in the cabinet and at a second position in which the supporting member is mounted on the drying shelf. Through this configuration, supporting force of the drying shelf can be improved.

Abstract: A clothing dryer includes a drying tub configured to hold laundry and having an opening to load laundry; a filter housing disposed at a front of the opening and configured to accommodate a filter; and a first sensor and a second sensor disposed at the filter housing such that the first sensor is electrically connected to the second sensor through wet laundry contacting the first sensor and the second sensor simultaneously. Each of the first sensor and the second sensor includes a sensing part exposed to an inside of the drying tub and a bent part inserted to the filter housing. The filter housing includes a partition wall to separate at least a portion of the first sensor and the second sensor.

Through the structure as such, the accuracy in detecting dryness of laundry is enhanced, and an optimal controlling of the clothing dryer may be possible.
