    Abstract: Disclosed is a lighting device which includes: a cover; a placement portion disposed within the cover; a light source which includes a substrate disposed on the placement portion, a light emitting device disposed on the substrate, and a connector connected to the substrate; a cap which is coupled to both ends of the cover respectively and has at least one opening; a socket including a connection portion which is coupled to the cap and is inserted into the opening of the cap. The connection portion of the socket is inserted into the opening of the cap and is rotated, and then is physically and electrically connected to the connector of the light source. The lighting device according to the embodiment of the present invention can be substituted for a conventional fluorescent lamp. Since the lighting device according to the embodiment of the present invention does not use a wire electrically connecting the socket to the light source, there is no requirement for a soldering process.
