Abstract: A latch assembly and a magnetic contactor including same are disclosed. A latch assembly according to one embodiment of the present disclosure comprises: a frame; a movable core and a latch unit, which are rotatably coupled to the frame. The movable core is rotatably coupled to a trip coil unit by means of a coupling member. An insertion hole for rotatably supporting the latch unit is formed on the frame. The movable core rotates along the coupling member. In addition, the latch unit is guided and rotated along the insertion hole. Therefore, the operational reliability and endurance limit of the latch assembly can be enhanced.
