Abstract: In accordance with one aspect of the present disclosure, there is provided an apparatus for detecting rain using a wire mesh sensor including: a wire mesh which is configured to include a plurality of transmitters and a plurality of receivers; and a fixing part for fixing the wire mesh; wherein the plurality of transmitters supply electricity to the wire mesh, and wherein, in response to rain being positioned between a specific transmitter among the plurality of transmitters and a specific receiver among the plurality of receivers, the specific receiver is configured to receive the electricity from the specific transmitter and then transmit the electricity to a measuring part, to thereby allow the measuring part to measure conductivity. This hemispherical apparatus can detect rain accurately by making the incident angles of the rain to be vertical regardless of the directions of the rain.

Abstract: A method of transmitting a Physical Layer Convergence Procedure (PLCP) frame in a Very High Throughput (VHT) Wireless Local Area Network (WLAN) system includes generating a MAC Protocol Data Unit (MPDU) to be transmitted to a destination station (STA), generating a PLCP Protocol Data Unit (PPDU) by adding a PLCP header, including an L-SIG field containing control information for a legacy STA and a VHT-SIG field containing control information for a VHT STA, to the MPDU, and transmitting the PPDU to the destination STA. A constellation applied to some of Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplex (OFDM) symbols of the VHT-SIG field is obtained by rotating a constellation applied to an OFDM symbol of the L-SIGfield.

Abstract: Provided are a method for fabricating a human nasal turbinate-derived mesenchymal stem cell-based 3D bioprinted construct, and a use thereof, wherein the human nasal turbinate-derived mesenchymal stem cell-based, 3D bioprinted construct is advantageous over conventional mesenchymal stem cell-based, 3D bioprinted constructs in that the former can survive and proliferate stably in vitro and/or in vivo and shows high osteogenic differentiation ability as well, therefore is expected to make a great contribution to the practical use of cellular therapeutic agents.

The catalyst has a three-dimensional network structure and a cubic crystal structure sharing oxygen atoms, and has a Si/Al ratio greater than 1, and includes an alkali metal, an alkaline earth metal and a water molecule of crystallization. The catalyst enables good-quality light oil to be recovered from waste plastics, woody hydrocarbons and waste oils and is highly advantageous in terms of environmental problems.

A method for selecting a mobile communication system of a portable terminal includes driving a first timer; checking whether a Mobile Country Code (MCC) of a region where the portable terminal is located is obtained by searching for a network until the first timer expires; when the MCC is obtained before the first timer expires, storing the obtained MCC to a previous MCC list; performing a first checking operation for checking whether the obtained MCC belongs to a list of countries supporting only a first mobile communication system; and obtaining a service of the first mobile communication system by searching for only the first mobile communication system when the obtained MCC belongs to the list of the countries supporting only the first mobile communication system.

Abstract: A method for setting an IP (Internet Protocol) address for accessing a specified network is disclosed. The method includes detecting values that indicate inherent information of a vehicle from a vehicle identification number that includes specified vehicle information, setting a specified bit value for reporting that the IP address is a unique address, and creating the IP address by combining the specified bit value with the values that indicate the inherent information of the vehicle. According to the present method, the inherent IP address can be set for each vehicle by setting an interface identifier (ID) of the IP address using the vehicle identification number. Also, diverse vehicle information can be obtained through the interface ID of the IP address set using the vehicle identification number. Because, the IP address is set by the invention composed of the interface ID of 64 bits, it is compatible with the existing Extended Unique Identifier EUI-64 format.

Abstract: Disclosed is a system, apparatus and method for improving a transmission rate by using an ACK piggybacking of a TCP in an asynchronous network environment. When an ACK packet for confirming reception of TCP data downloaded from a sender is transmitted, the ACK packet piggybacks another IP packet (or an IP datagram) to be transmitted through an uplink, i.e. the ACK packet is transmitted together with the IP packet. This removes congestion between the ACK packet and the IP packet, which are transmitted through the uplink, and reduces loss or delay of the ACK packet, which deteriorates the transmission rate.

Also, the present invention provides a functional cDNA chip for meat quality evaluation and screening of specific genes in swine prepared by integrating only the fat specific genes screened as described above. Therefore, the functional cDNA chip can be used to evaluate of meat quality according to breeds of swine and to bring a high meat quality swine.

Also, the present invention provides expression profiles of marker genes which are related to economic traits of swine by using the cDNA chip according to the present invention. Therefore, the cDNA chip according to the present invention can be used for the comparison of genetic expression according to swine breeds and tissues, genetic mutation screening, genetic polymorphism interpretation, development of new drugs for disease treatment and disease diagnosis, swine improvement.
