Abstract: Disclosed herein is a tub for washing machines. The tub comprises a tub body, a weight receiving part formed at the tub body, and a balance weight integrally formed at the weight receiving part by injection molding. Consequently, the balance weight is integrally attached to the tub body without using additional fixing units for fixing the balance weight to the tub body, and therefore, the balance weight and the tub body are formed in a simple structure.

Abstract: Disclosed is a washing machine with a drying unit, in which a construction of a gasket and a molding method for forming the gasket are simplified since an additional drying unit connection holes is not necessary as hot air passing out the drying unit is supplied into a drum through an interior space of a door, and assembly work of a washing machine is easy and simple since it is not necessary that the drying unit is connected with the gasket.

Abstract: Disclosed herein is a washing machine which has a detergent supply part formed in a door. The detergent supply part is formed in the door and has a function of containing detergent and supplying detergent into a tub through the door. The washing machine has an advantage of considerable space saving compared with the washing machine having the detergent supply part formed in an inner space thereof, thereby minimizing the volume and the number of components of the washing machine.

Abstract: Disclosed herein is a washing machine with drying function. A heater is mounted in a tub for heating wash water or air in the tub. A circulating channel is connected to the tub for guiding air heated by the heater to the outside of the tub and then supplying the air into a drum such that the laundry in the drum is dried. Consequently, the structure of the washing machine with drying function is simplified, the manufacturing costs of the washing machine with drying function are reduced, and noise generated from the washing machine with drying function is minimized.
