The system includes a second modem terminal for performing a call connection with a first modem terminal through a network, the first modem terminal for relaying a call by forming a near distance communication channel with at least one non-modem terminal when a request for the call connection is received from the second modem terminal, or by supporting a call connection between the second modem terminal and the non-modem terminal and relaying a call to transmit and receive data necessary for execution of a call function when a request for the call connection with the second modem terminal is received from a non-modem terminal in which the communication channel is formed, and the non-modem terminal for performing a call function with the second modem terminal based on the call relay function of the first modem terminal.

Content data information corresponding to content data is stored in a content information database (DB). Whenever an application requests content data information, a content manager provides the application with index information of content data. Then, the application accesses the content information DB and reads content data information corresponding to the provided index information.

Abstract: A wheel input device and a method thereof enable a four-way key stroke, space saving, effective key arrangement, and suitability for existing operating systems or application programs by using a scroll wheel. A direction change button may be used to control the directional property of the scroll wheel. By rotating the scroll wheel in the up/down direction after clicking the direction change button, a cursor on a screen display unit moves in the right/left direction differently from its initial function. By clicking the direction change button once again, the function of the scroll wheel returns to its initial function. A specific function may be set for a long click of the direction change button. Alternatively, a click identification unit may be used, instead of the direction change button, to provide a four-way key stroke.

Abstract: Provided is an apparatus and method for inputting characters in a mobile communication terminal in which at least one character is mapped to each key An input key including a desired character is selected, a sequence key corresponding to the mapping sequence of the desired character is selected, and the character designated by the selected sequence key is displayed. Accordingly, it is possible to conveniently input the desired key by pressing only two keys, i.e., the input key and the sequence key, without having to press a separate key or wait for a predetermined time after pressing the input key.
