  • Publication number: 20040095385
Abstract: A virtual reality embodying system uses 2D images and HDRI data taken of a target object through a camera to embody virtual reality. A modeling unit compares the 2D image's coordinate with a real coordinate to calculate a transform matrix, calculates a vanishing point of a reference vector, uses the vanishing point to calculate a camera matrix, uses the camera matrix and the transform matrix to calculate a rotation matrix and a translation matrix, and uses the rotation matrix and the translation matrix to model the 2D image into a virtual model. A rendering unit uses the HDRI data as texture to render the virtual model, and embodies the HDRI into an extended VRML node to apply the virtual model to the VRML environment.

  • Publication number: 20030231182
Abstract: In a virtual character control system, a character form mesh linked to articulation information of a character including articulations and at least one item mesh linked to the articulation information are stored in a set format. A temporary mesh generator selects an item mesh attached to the character from among the at least one item mesh according to item removal information, and combines the selected item mesh and the character form mesh to generate a temporary mesh. A character motion controller performs mesh skinning on the temporary mesh according to character motion control information to link the character form mesh and the item mesh to the character motion control information, thereby very effectively controlling motion of the virtual character.

  • Publication number: 20030120823
Abstract: A client system for implementing a 3D virtual reality by using X3D (extensible 3D) data provided from a service server includes an applet, a communication module, and a browsing means. The applet communicates with the service server to receive the X3D data and transmit the received X3D data. The communication module is connected to the applet in order to provide a communication between the service server and a client. The browsing means parses the X3D data received through the communication module to construct a scene graph; conducts a rendering of the scene graph to have a predetermined form; and, then, displays the scene graph on a display window of the client.

  • Patent number: 6437511
Abstract: A magnetron is disclosed in which the structure of the choke is altered, so that when designing the choke, the design allowance range is expanded so as to realize the optimum efficiency. Thus the unnecessary harmonic waves are more inhibited, and the coupling of the output part is improved owing to the impedance of the choke, thereby doubling the output and efficiency. The first choke includes: a first cylindrical body; a flange part extending from the top of the cylindrical body toward the anode seal; and a supporting means extending from the flange part toward the cylindrical body. The second choke includes: a cylindrical body; and a flange part extending from the top of the cylindrical body toward the anode seal. Thus the first and second chokes maintain a proper gap between them owing to the supporting means.

  • Patent number: 6097154
Abstract: A method for designing a microwave oven magnetron includes design for a permissible range of a length of a choke for suppression of a harmonic higher than the fourth harmonic. The inventive magnetron includes; a cathode with a filament; a cylindrical metal anode around the cathode; a vane fixed onto the inner side of the anode for providing a plurality of resonant cavities radially directed toward the cathode; an antenna feeder having an outer diameter .PHI..sub.1 ; upper and lower magnets fixed to upper and lower yokes; and upper and lower magnetic poles which provide paths of a magnetic circuit. An anode seal having an opening whose inner diameter .PHI..sub.4 serves as a magnetic circuit path and a supporter of a body. A metal choke (having an inner diameter .PHI..sub.2, an outer diameter .PHI..sub.3, and a length La) is installed fixed onto the inner side of the anode seal and surrounds the antenna feeder in order to suppress over a fourth higher harmonic generated through the anode seal.
