  • Patent number: 10078365
Abstract: Disclosed is a device for controlling a mobile terminal, including a touch sensor that detects a touch input with respect to a specific region of a touch screen, and a controller that determines whether the touch input continues to be received for reference time for which a state in which the mobile terminal is gripped by a user is recognized and that, when the touch input continues to be received for the reference time, blocks touch information corresponding to the touch input.

  • Patent number: 10028227
Abstract: Disclosed are a mobile terminal capable of implementing an always-on function with a lower power, based on a motion, and a motion-based low power implementing method thereof. The method includes sensing a motion of a user by using an acceleration sensor in a low-power always-on that only the acceleration sensor is activated; a selectively activating an always-on function according to the sensed motion and deactivating the always-on function when no motion is sensed in an always-on state and automatically entering to the low-power always-on function.

  • Patent number: 10015400
Abstract: Disclosed are a mobile terminal, and a method for controlling the same. The mobile terminal includes: a body; a camera provided at the body; a display unit configured to display a preview screen as the camera is driven; a sensing unit configured to sense a moved degree of the body as the camera is driven; and a controller configured to control the camera to execute a timer capturing, if a face region of a subject is detected from the displayed preview screen, and if the sensed moved degree of the body satisfies a preset capturing condition. The controller may execute an operation corresponding to the timer capturing, and may consecutively generate a next capturing command at a reference time interval while the moved degree of the body is within a reference range.

  • Patent number: 9933883
Abstract: The present invention relates to a mobile terminal capable of predicting a future touch movement based on a previous touch movement, and applying the future touch movement onto a screen, and a touch coordinate predicting method thereof. Each touch coordinate with respect to a touch movement detected on an application screen is displayed. A change of previous touch coordinates is checked at a time point when a touch coordinate is displayed. A touch coordinate predictive value is calculated based on previous touch coordinates, and then the calculated touch coordinate predictive value is applied onto a current touch coordinate. Under such configuration, a response time, which occurs between a finger's movement and an actual character movement (or a drawing output) due to touch input lag, can be reduced.
