A radar device according to an embodiment includes a transceiver being controlled to transmit the transmission signal in an operating frequency band according to a selection mode among a plurality of frequency band modes and to receive the reception signal through the receiving antenna, and a mode selector dynamically determining one of the plurality of frequency band modes as the selection mode based on at least one of a target distance to the target and a maximum detection distance for each frequency band. According to embodiments of the present disclosure, the distance resolution of the radar can be optimized by dynamically varying the frequency bandwidth linked with the maximum detection distance according to a target distance under specific driving conditions.

    Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a device and method for detecting vertical misalignment of a vehicle radar device and vehicle radar device with the same. A radar device according to an embodiment determines a monitoring range including the ground in front by using the radar signal, determines an error of vertical angles for a number of ground distances within the monitoring range, and detects the vertical mounting misalignment of the radar device by using the error. According to embodiments, it is possible to accurately determine the vertical mounting misalignment of the radar device even if there is a road surface non-uniformity, road slope, or radar beam width change.

    Abstract: The present invention relates to bacterial ghosts, and more particularly, to a method of preparing bacterial ghosts from gram-positive bacteria by hydrochloric acid treatment. Specifically, according to the present invention, when gram-positive bacteria were cultured after being treated with a minimum inhibitory concentration (MIC) of hydrochloric acid capable of inhibiting colony formation of gram-positive bacteria, bacterial ghosts were effectively formed. Since the formed bacterial ghosts have no intracellular proteins or DNA while preserving cell wall integrity, the risk of side effects such as secondary infection caused by bacterial growth when the bacterial ghosts are administered to humans is low. Therefore, the bacterial ghosts prepared from gram-positive bacteria according to the method of the present invention may be effectively used as a vaccine or a foreign antigen carrier for preventing or treating gram-positive bacterial infection.
