  • Publication number: 20110134818
Abstract: A low-power method for media access control on a semi-linear sensor network with multiple sensor nodes, includes: sensing a channel after waking up from a sleep mode by an arbitrary transmission sensor node that has obtained data; and generating a long preamble including a number of element preambles and sending to a destination sensor node after said channel sensing. This method further includes: sending said data to said destination sensor node after completion of transmission of said long preamble; and identifying duty cycle information of said destination sensor node after completion of transmission of said data and adjusting the number of said element preambles according to said duty cycle information.

  • Publication number: 20100229183
Abstract: The present invention relates to a framework device of a mobile terminal and a component interoperability guaranteeing method, and is configured by a hardware component generated by a developer and hardware middleware to be linked by a software (or another hardware) component. Therefore, in the exemplary embodiment of the present invention, hardware dependent parts in the hardware component are provided to the hardware middleware through setting parameters so that the hardware middleware is linked with the corresponding hardware component. The hardware middleware receives a request message according to the general inter-ORB protocol (GIOP) transmission system used for the basic communication system of the framework, parses the request message, and converts and transmits data to the corresponding hardware component.

  • Publication number: 20100070524
Abstract: An apparatus and method for parsing a domain profile in SCA are provided. The apparatus includes an open profile interface and an XML parser. The open profile interface receives a domain profile name with a DOM tree generation request from a framework, transfers the received domain profile name according to the DOM tree generation request, generates a search query corresponding to a request of information in a DOM tree for the domain profile, directly extracts corresponding information from the DOM tree using the generated search query, and provides the extracted information to the framework. The XML parser receives the domain profile name from the open profile interface and generates a DOM tree of a corresponding domain profile.

  • Publication number: 20080192681
Abstract: The present invention provides multi-mode user equipment for supporting wireless data communication with the Internet through various access networks. The multi-mode user equipment includes a plurality of network interfaces for supporting access to the respective access networks. In addition, the multi-mode user equipment collects information on the state of the respective access networks from the respectively corresponding network interfaces, selects a network interface that is capable of providing a stable data communication path based on the collected information, and establishes a data communication path. Further, the multi-mode user equipment releases the data communication path when data packets are not subsequently transmitted/received through the corresponding data communication path to thereby achieve efficient use of resources.
