  • Patent number: 5540572
Abstract: The present invention provides a structure for preventing an axial leakage in a scroll compressor. The structure prevents a fixed scroll from rotating on its own axis or swinging in its radial direction, when the fixed scroll is pushed toward an orbiting scroll by refrigerant pressure in a discharge chamber, thereby the axial leakage is precluded. The structure includes a plurality of guide holes formed at the outer circumferential portions of a fixed scroll, and a plurality of projections formed at the outer circumferential portions of a main frame and inserted into the guide holes respectively, so as to allow a sliding movement of the fixed scroll in its radial direction.

  • Patent number: 5487653
Abstract: This invention relates to the prevention of leakage caused by the gap between the tip member of a scroll wrap and the end plate of the other scroll, and the axial leakage apparatus of a scroll compressor for reducing the power loss caused due to the use of the compressed refrigerant gas at the time of the prevention of leakage, which is accomplished by the axial leakage resistant apparatus of a scroll compressor including the pressurization member to pressurize the fixed scroll toward the lower shaft of the crankshaft with a part of the refrigerant gas of high pressure exhaled into the exhalation chamber and the control member to control the compression interval of the fixed scroll by the pressurization of the above pressurization member.

  • Patent number: 5475046
Abstract: A method for the production of polyester film is disclosed including the steps of: esterifying at least one species of carboxylic acid with at least one species of glycol; adding to the ester composition macro particles of silica of an average diameter of approximately 1.3 to approximately 2.0 .mu.m and fine particles of aluminum oxide of an average diameter of approximately 20 to approximately 200 nm; polycondensing the resulting mixture, to give a filled polyester resin; melting the filled polyester resin; molding the melt into a sheet; and biaxially stretching the sheet to produce a film product which is superior in haze and in static friction coefficient (U.sub.x)/kinetic friction coefficient (U.sub.k) ratio The polyester film of the present invention does not appear milky. In addition, after slitting the polyester film and tightly winding it around a roll it does not have a substantial number of protrusions.

  • Patent number: 5427730
Abstract: A method for the production of biaxially stretched polyester film. The method comprises the steps of: adding cubic calcium carbonate particles of calcite structure satisfying the following conditions at any stage of polyester preparation, so as to prepare polyester resin:d.sub.25 /d.sub.75 <2.00 (1)0.7.ltoreq.d.sub.50 .ltoreq.1.50 (2)a:b:c=1:(1.about.1.5):(1.about.1.5) (3)wherein d.sub.25, d.sub.50 and d.sub.75 are the diameters (.mu.m) of particles when the accumulated weights of the particles are on the order of 25, 50 and 75% of the total weight of the particles, respectively, and a, b, c are width, length and height of the cubic calcium carbonate particles and the shortest one among a, b and c is set a=1; and applying melt-extrusion to the polyester resin. The biaxially stretched copolyester film provided is superior in travelling capacity as well as abrasion resistance and scratch resistance, so that it is useful for magnetic recording media.

  • Patent number: 5192202
Abstract: A scroll-type compressor comprising a stationary scroll member having a spiral-shaped wrap, an orbiting scroll member interleaved with said stationary scroll and having a spiral-shaped wrap of the same shape as that of the wrap of the stationary scroll member but performing an orbital motion without rotation, a compression chamber defined between the wraps of the scroll members, a crankshaft eccentrically connected to the orbiting scroll member for causing the orbiting scroll member to orbit, and a sealing apparatus for restraining radial leakage of compressed fluid. The sealing apparatus comprises elastic thrust bearing members for elastically supporting the stationary scroll in order to allow the stationary scroll to wobble upwardly and downwardly as the orbiting scroll performs the orbital motion simultaneously with wobbling upwardly and downwardly due to a pressure difference between the outside and the inside of the compression chamber.

  • Patent number: 5067884
Abstract: A unitized structure of a main bearing and a cylinder of a rotary compressor is disclosed. The cylinder is formed integrally with and directly in the main bearing. Further, the inner circumferential corner of the cylinder is shaped in a round form, and the corresponding circumferential corner of the roller is shaped also in a round form. According to the present invention, the fastidious adjusting procedure required in assembling the conventional compressor and the drop of the effciency due to the variation of the clearance between the cylinder and the main bearing are all eliminated, thereby improving the productivity and the product quality.
