  • Publication number: 20160318684
Abstract: The present invention relates to a pouch container including a pouch main body to be filled with liquid contents; an inner tube which includes an inserted portion to be inserted in the pouch main body, an inlet portion for putting or withdrawing the liquid contents in or out, and a connecting portion of connecting the inserted portion and the inlet portion, and provides a tubular passage for the liquid contents; and an outer tube which is softer than the inner tube, and surrounds at least one of the connecting portion and the inlet portion. Thus, it is possible to solve problems of inconvenience and prevents damage to a consumer when s/he drinks liquid contents since the inlet portion is partially made of a soft material.

  • Publication number: 20150336731
Abstract: A vertical pouch includes a heating element to react with a reaction liquid and cause an exothermic reaction. A first pack is configured to form a space for containing the heating element between a first sheet and a second sheet. A second pack is configured to form a space for containing the heating element between a third sheet and a fourth sheet. A content container is comprised of the second sheet of the first pack, the third sheet of the second pack, and a bottom connecting lower portions of the second and third sheets and folded upward and downward. A reaction liquid passage is configured to make the first pack communicate with the second pack.

  • Publication number: 20140102436
Abstract: Disclosed is a pouch convenient to heat or cool contents. The pouch includes: a contents-accommodating section which can accommodate contents; a temperature controller which includes a temperature control agent arranged in a temperature control space provided at least one between front and back sides with respect to the contents-accommodating section, and a liquid reactant entrance arranged to be lower than an upper end of the contents-accommodating section and through which a liquid reactant for exothermically or endothermically reacting with the temperature control agent is put into the temperature control space; and a sealing portion which seals up the liquid reactant entrance so that the liquid reactant entrance can be opened when force of not less than a certain magnitude is applied.

  • Patent number: 8261735
Abstract: As indicated above, the present invention provides a flameless, portable heating kit. In a typical embodiment, the heat pack contains a liquid activated heating material (e.g., in pack form) and utilizes a recycled heat design. This design includes an opening between a heat chamber and a content chamber where the contents (materials to be heated such as food, or a packet containing food such as a Meal Ready to Eat (MRE)) are placed. The heat materials such as steam, air or liquid are transported through a controlled opening that transfers heat to the heat chamber. The present invention also provides a heat control method that uses a filter or filters that filter by-product materials such as moisture and channels the by-products outside, while keeping the heating liquid material inside of the heat space chamber. Optimal control of the heating (chemical) materials' temperature offers a safe heating experience.

  • Publication number: 20110180055
Abstract: The present invention provides a flameless, portable heating container. In a typical embodiment, the heating container contains a liquid activated heating material (e.g., in pack or disk form) and utilizes a recycled heating design. The design includes a set of chambers or compartments such a: a first compartment for holding a material to be heated; a second compartment containing an activation liquid; and a third compartment comprising a protrusion and a liquid activated heating material activated by the activation liquid, the protrusion being configured to puncture a divider between the second compartment and the third compartment so that the activation liquid contacts and activates the liquid activated heating material. It is understood that for the purposes of this disclosure, the terms chamber and compartment may be used interchangeably.
