  • Publication number: 20170298665
Abstract: A wedge-shaped door stopper that includes a lower member including soft elastic material and an upper member including rigid material with high hardness to prevent a bottom surface of the door stopper from slipping along over a floor surface and allows the bottom surface to contact the floor surface firmly with high friction. The upper member is removably coupled to the top surface of the lower member and has a smooth, sloped top surface. When the door stopper is used between the floor surface and a bottom of the door and a force is applied to the door in the direction that the door is closed, the bottom of the door glides up on the sloped top surface of the upper member.

  • Publication number: 20090299248
Abstract: A portable traction therapy device including a traction spring, a belt, and a traction control unit. The traction control unit interconnects the spring and the belt, and includes a locking mechanism and a switch assembly. The locking mechanism selectively locks and releases the belt relative to a housing of the control unit, with the switch assembly operating to dictate a state of the locking mechanism.

  • Publication number: 20080081079
Abstract: A portable saline nasal spray is a device designed to remove allergens or other harmful substances from the human nasal cavity in effective and convenient way. The portable saline nasal spray includes a spray pump that is operated by a finger, a spray nozzle that is ergonomically designed to effectively spray into the nasal cavity, and a disposable saline pouch that can be purchased separately. Not like other existing method, instead of forcing the saline solution to flow though the nasal cavity, this invention sprays the saline solution effectively over the whole surface of the nasal cavity. Because saline solution is sprayed, it requires only small amount of solution for daily use. This invention utilizes factory prepared sterile saline solution contained in disposable pouch that makes the nasal cleaning procedure much more simple and convenient. Just one small pouch of saline solution can be used for a whole week of twice a day nasal cleaning.

  • Publication number: 20080060200
Abstract: A nail clipping device for preventing the nail clippings from jumping away from the clipper and being scattered around the nail clipping site. This device includes vertical catching side walls that are extended from both sides of upper and lower elongate parts of the clipper. The height of each catching side wall is just a little bit shorter than a half of the distance between the upper and lower elongate parts of the clipper when it is closed for cutting. When the clipper is not used the upper and lower catching side walls are apart from each other. However, when it is closed for nail clipping, the catching side walls approximate each other leaving just a small gap between them to form a side barrier to trap the nail clippings within. After clipping nails, by opening the clipper and holding it vertically the clippings can be disposed to desired place.

  • Publication number: 20070287612
Abstract: A maximum muscle strengthening resistance device provides a way of exercise that allows the exercising person to exert his/her full power throughout the whole time of exercise. When a volume of fluid is forced to pass through a small opening, it produces a resisting force. This invention uses this resistive force produced by the oil flow along with the mechanical force generated by a power unit such as a hydraulic pump or an electric power motor for the resisting force during the strengthening exercises. Most of the muscle strengthening exercise is consisted of consecutive concentric-eccentric exercise cycles. By using this invention, during the concentric exercise cycle the exercising person actively exert his/her full power to move the exercising handle toward the concentric direction against above mentioned resistive force of oil flow.

  • Publication number: 20070287945
Abstract: A method for treating an ingrown toenail by providing a smooth surface on the lateral edge of the damaged/sharpened nail and isolating the lateral nail bed, i.e., the cuticle, from the sharpened nail, thereby aborting the cycle of mutual damage that occurs when an ingrown toenail causes inflammation on the flesh portion at the side or under the toenail which in turn then further dissolves the nail edge and sharpen it, which in turn then causes further damage and inflammation. By ceasing this cycle, the sufferer of the ingrown toenail feels immediate pain relief while the toenail heals itself by means of isolation of the cuticle from the sharpened portion of the nail.
