  • Patent number: 9145791
Abstract: The present disclosure relates to an automatic inspection apparatus for generator turbines and a system using the same. The automatic inspection apparatus adjusts the height of an arm via a lifter, adjusts a rotating angle relative to an inspection object via a rotator, and adjusts forward or backward movement of a probe relative to the inspection object via an expansion/contraction unit while moving the arm having the probe on a rail in accordance with positions of a turbine to be inspected. Furthermore, a compression unit may be used to control contact pressure of the probe to the inspection object at a desired level to allow the probe to closely contact the inspection object, thereby preventing disturbance due to vibration of the probe. In addition, the automatic inspection apparatus has a simple and lightweight configuration so as to be easily installed or removed in a work site.

  • Patent number: 7654144
Abstract: In a nondestructive testing apparatus for testing normality of a blade root in a steam turbine installed in a nuclear plant or a thermal plant, an ultrasonic probe and an encoder can be mounted at the outside by only removing a casing of the steam turbine, without the necessity of withdrawing a turbine rotor, so that an automatic testing can be performed by rotating the steam turbine. Since the testing result can be digitally stored, reliability of the testing is improved. Furthermore, size of the testing apparatus is highly reduced for a tester to conveniently carry and install the testing apparatus alone. As a result, installation time and the whole testing time can be minimized.

  • Publication number: 20080103973
Abstract: The present invention relates to an electronic surveillance method and system in a wideband wireless access system. If a law enforcement agency system requests electronic surveillance relative to a specified object, an electronic surveillance system first performs an authentication process using a codebook to authorize the electronic surveillance request. As the result of the authentication process, if it is judged that the electronic surveillance request of the law enforcement agency system is legal, the electronic surveillance system issues an encryption key required for encrypting communication contents with a law enforcement agency and electronic surveillance information. Thereafter, communication and message transmission/reception between the electronic surveillance system and the law enforcement agency system are encrypted and decoded using the encryption key.
