The light condensing part is integrally formed with the light controlling part so as to condense the controlled light.     Abstract: Disclosed is an LCD device including an electromagnetic wave shielding member for shielding the electromagnetic waves generated from electric power applied to lamp of backlight assembly. The shielding member comprising conductive material is coated on surface of a diffusing plate to have mesh shape. The shielding member is filled into groove formed on the surface of the diffusing plate to have mesh shape. Accordingly, the electromagnetic waves may be shielded from the LCD panel. Furthermore, the shielding member makes electrical contact with the chassis of the LCD device through various ground members so as to be connected to an earth potential, thereby being stabilized electrically. Accordingly, display quality of the LCD device is improved. A conductive tape is used as the ground member, and the conductive tape is strongly fixed to the chassis of the LCD device by means of conductive fixing clip or conductive screw.

    Abstract: A diffusively reflective film includes a base film, a light reflection layer and a light diffusion layer. The base film is flexible. The light reflection layer is disposed on the base film. The light reflection film reflects a first light. The light diffusion layer is disposed on the light reflection layer. The light diffusion layer diffuses the first light to form a second light. The diffusively reflective film may be bent to cover the light guide plate without being broken so as to increase the amount of light. Thus, a display quality is enhanced. Further, the diffusively reflective film covers the first side face, the second side face and the first face of light guide plate at once. Thus, productivity is enhanced and its manufacturing cost is reduced.

    Abstract: In a backlight assembly and a liquid crystal display device using the backlight assembly, a lamp assembly is mounted on a receiving container and includes lamps. The lamps are connected in parallel and are turned on by the power voltage supplied from a lamp driving module. Sensors are disposed in the receiving container to face the lamps, and detect operation state of the lamps to output sensing signals. A voltage cut-off module is disposed outside of the receiving container, provides the lamp driving module with a voltage cut-off signal when at least one of the sensing signals has an amplitude smaller than a reference signal. The deterioration of the lamps may be prevented, and the life expectancy of lamps may be increased.
