  • Patent number: 12005314
Abstract: The present disclosure relates to an exercise device for incline push-ups that allows a user to do incline push-up exercises in a comfortable and efficient (in terms of the load exerted on upper body muscles) manner. More specifically, the exercise device comprises a push-up board removably attached to an edge of a worktop by using a support structure. When engaged with the edge of the worktop, the support structure is configured to support the board at an acute angle to the worktop. • Patent number: 11949164
Abstract: Register banks are used to allow for fast beam switching in a phased array system. Each beam forming channel is associated with a register bank containing M register sets for configuring such things as gain/amplitude and phase parameters of the beam forming channel. The register banks for all beam forming channels can be pre-programmed and then fast beam switching circuitry allows all beam forming channels across the array to be switched to use the same register set from its corresponding register bank at substantially the same time, thereby allowing the phased array system to be quickly switched between various beam patterns and orientations. Active power control circuitry may be used to control the amount of electrical power provided to or consumed by one or more individual beam forming channels such as to reduce DC power consumption of the array and/or to selectively change the effective directivity of the array.

  • Publication number: 20230355968
Abstract: Expansion of cytotoxic T lymphocytes (CTLs) is a crucial step in almost all cancer immunotherapeutic methods. Current techniques for expansion of tumor-reactive CTLs present major limitations. The present invention comprises a novel method to effectively produce and expand tumor-activated CTLs using high-voltage pulsed electric fields. Tumor cells were subjected to high-frequency irreversible electroporation (HFIRE) with various electric field magnitudes and pulse widths, or irreversible electroporation (IRE). The treated tumor cells were subsequently cocultured with CD8+ cytotoxic T cells along with antigen-presenting cells. Tumor-activated CTLs can be produced and expanded when exposed to treated tumor cells. The activated CTLs produced with the present invention could be used for clinical applications with the goal of targeting and eliminating tumors.
