Abstract: One disclosed method for improving the route of at least one net of a circuit comprises: receiving a circuit design that includes a plurality of circuit elements and at least one communication carrier element; determining a location for each circuit element; determining an original route for the communication carrier element; classifying the original route of the communication carrier element as either suspect or non-suspect; and re-establishing a route for the communication carrier elements that are classified as suspect.

Abstract: One disclosed method for repairing min-time timing violations comprises receiving a circuit design to analyze, analyzing the circuit design to determine if a min-time timing violation is present in the circuit design, and fixing a determined min-time timing violation by replacing an appropriate element of the circuit design with a de-raced element.
