  • Publication number: 20240056781
Abstract: A wireless plant sensor system transmits data in real time via a cloud. The system comprises a child sensor digitally and wirelessly connected to a parent sensor, the parent sensor relaying plant sensor data to the cloud central processing unit, and a user interface that is digitally connected to the cloud. The sensor processing unit provides control and management of system power via a power regulator circuit, which is electrically engaged to power harvesting components, which include a solar cell, a rf energy harvester, a rf antenna and rechargeable energy storage components. The input components to the sensor processing unit include; an accelerometer, temperature and humidity sensor, and an analog front end/LED driver that controls a plurality of LED light guides and emitters. The power regulator circuit regulates power flow from a solar cell and a rf energy harvester to a rechargeable power source.

  • Patent number: 11602301
Abstract: The wheal and flare analyzing system analyzes the mast cell reaction to an allergen being administered in a scratch or prick skin test. The system comprises a sensor array and a processing unit. The sensor array includes a plurality of emitters surrounding a receiver at the allergen test site. Energy of various wavelengths is emitted into the allergen test site. An energy receiver measures reflected various wavelengths from the plurality of emitters. A microprocessor is in digital communication with the plurality of emitters and the energy receiver. The reflected wavelengths have an energy return indicative of the intensity of the allergic reaction in the mast cells. The intensity of the allergic reaction is analyzable from the reflected wavelengths and other data over time. A plurality of temperature sensors measuring local dermal temperatures surrounding the sensor array, the local dermal temperature being indicative of the intensity of the allergic reaction.

  • Patent number: 11408820
Abstract: A produce freshness sensor inexpensive enough to be discarded after each produce use, and multi-functional that is affixed to the produce by the grower that monitors parameters that affects produce freshness (to measure color and chemical composition), the sensor being used throughout the produce distribution system. A sensor monitors produce freshness and comprises one or more emitters, a temperature sensor, a microprocessor, and a transceiver mounted on a printed circuit board. The sensor is affixed relative to the produce. Power usage is critical to prolong operational time of the temperature sensor. Data collection and transmission are controlled to minimize run time and power usage. An initial baseline is established when the sensor is affixed relative to the produce, the start time and baseline measurements being recorded relative to the baseline. The real-time information is subsequently processed to provide analysis and relevant data to users throughout the produce distribution system.
