Abstract: The subject matter of the present invention is a solar energy recovery and conversion system for a greenhouse for cultivating plants, the greenhouse comprising a cultivation area, characterized in that the solar energy recovery and conversion system comprises: —a set of reflective panels; —a drive device which is provided to cause the reflective panels to pivot around their longitudinal pivot axis; —at least one solar energy recovery device which is arranged between the roof and the set of reflective panels, so as to recover the solar energy reflected by the reflective panels; —a control unit which is configured to control the drive device according to different operating modes. The invention also relates to a method for controlling the solar energy recovery and conversion system.
