  • Patent number: 11285850
Abstract: An armrest module for a motor vehicle. The armrest module includes an armrest arm able to support the arm of an occupant of the motor vehicle, the armrest arm extending primarily in a longitudinal direction (X); a pad, the pad being pivotable relative to the armrest arm about two axes (A1, A2) which are perpendicular to each other, the two axes (A1, A2) also being perpendicular to the longitudinal direction (X) of the armrest arm; and a human-machine interface provided by the pad.

    Assignee: FAURECIA INTERIEUR INDUSTRIE
    Inventors: David Gayon, Cedric Caravano
  • Publication number: 20190077340
Abstract: A trim element for a vehicle includes a cover, a piezoelectric member and a wireless telecommunication device. The cover has a face surface intended to be in contact with a user and a back surface on the opposite side, and the cover has a layer of foam and a covering material. The piezoelectric member is intended to be actuated by the user. The wireless telecommunication device is controlled by the piezoelectric member and adapted for communicating with an electrically controlled functional device for controlling the electrically controlled functional device. The telecommunication device is attached to the back surface of the cover.

  • Patent number: 8517444
Abstract: A reconfigurable console assembly includes, but is not limited to, a stationary wall adapted for attachment to a vehicle. The assembly further includes a reconfigurable wall having a stationary end, a movable end, and a substantially constant length. The stationary end is attached to the stationary wall and the movable end moves between a stowed position and a deployed position. The reconfigurable wall flexes along a longitudinal axis as the movable end moves between the stowed and deployed positions. The stationary wall and the reconfigurable wall define a storage bin when the movable end is in the deployed position. The assembly further includes a constraining element connected to the movable end. The constraining element constrains the movable end to remain in the stowed position when the movable end is in the stowed position and to remain in the deployed position when the movable end is in the deployed position.
