  • Publication number: 20240208081
Abstract: A flexible sleeve is mounted on a rigid support, the sleeve being lined with wafers distributed in rings around the sleeve. The sleeve can be retracted by an actuator so as to return the end face of the sleeve inside the sleeve, by making a fold which tilts the wafers inwards by forming surfaces for retaining taken objects or samples, which can be maintained between the wafers or inside chambers.

  • Patent number: 11742103
Abstract: A biological protection for closing an opening in a wall delimiting a radiation zone, this protection comprising at least one iris diaphragm with a base in the form of a flat disk carrying petals formed by plates having a triangular contour and made of a material protecting against ionising radiation. These petals are movable parallel to the base between an open state in which the petals delimit together a central aperture and a closed state in which the petals are closely joined to form together a continuous closed wall.

  • Patent number: 11733074
Abstract: A head for housing an instrument comprises a first part and a second part which is movable relative to the first part. The first part is configured to be rigidly connected to a support mast. The second part comprises an opening which leads outside of the head and into a housing for the instrument. The housing is located inside the head.

  • Publication number: 20220319725
Abstract: A recovery tool for recovering a solid element, in particular a radioactive material. The recovery tool includes a chassis, a capture head and at least one cup. The capture head is movable with respect to the chassis between a retracted position and a deployed position. In the retracted position, the capture head is accommodated within a chamber of the recovery tool. In the deployed position, the capture head is able to capture the solid element. The cup is movable with respect to the chassis between an open position and a closed position. In the open position, the cup allows the capture head to be deployed. In the closed position of the cup, the cup allows the solid element to be retained within the chamber with the capture head in the retracted position.
