  • Patent number: 11187581
Abstract: Disclosed is an optical micro-spectrometry system including an optical microscope, a spectrometry system and an optical system adapted to direct an excitation light beam on the sample through the at least one microscope objective and to collect a Raman or PL light beam from a sample. The optical micro-spectrometry system includes an imaging system configured for acquiring a first image and a second image of the sample, by reflection or transmission of an illumination beam from a sample surface, the first image having a large field of view and the second image having a small field of view, a processing system configured for determining an area in the first image corresponding to the second image, a display system configured for displaying the first image, the second image, and a third image representing the area in overlay on the first image.

  • Publication number: 20180040307
Abstract: A system and method for separately processing content provided by different applications that is rendered on an attached display. The content is processed based upon the desired display settings that are appropriate for the particular application delivering content to a particular region of the display. In this way, simultaneously displayed applications may be processed as intended by each application, independent of differences in the display settings assumed by the displayed applications. The processing can include a calibration method for linearizing the output.

  • Patent number: 9280943
Abstract: The invention relates to a method for reducing imaging artifacts during a frame-changeover from a current frame to a following frame displayed by a display device comprising a plurality of pixels, wherein the artifacts are reduced by overdriving at least one control signal for controlling the pixel intensity of the related pixel during the frame-changeover, wherein the overdrive is carried out in dependence of the magnitude of an intensity step between a designated start intensity value of the pixel within the current frame and a designated target intensity value of the pixel within the following frame.

  • Publication number: 20140139541
Abstract: An optical microscope digital image processing emulator or emulation is described in which a user input device is used to assist in the emulation of an operation of an optical microscope in a digital image processing system. The emulator or emulation is programmable via a library of processing functions stored in memory. The input device is adapted to generate control signals based on a user input, and to transfer the control signals to a processor, the processor being adapted to alter one or more parameters of the processing functions based on the control signals. Embodiments of the present invention emulate the same control and responsiveness found with an optical microscope on a digital pathology computer system, thereby improving the workflow of pathology specialists by allowing better and faster control over the way images are presented.

  • Publication number: 20090136102
Abstract: An image processing method and system are described for processing medical images. The method comprises using a new coordinate system for representing combined image data of said plurality of medical images based on correlation information between image data of a plurality of medical images. The method further may comprise extracting such correlation information, and after said representing, mapping obtained image data to an antagonist colour space, thus resulting in visualisation with a fused image with high contrast and luminance and with particular human vision parameters relating to equalities and differences in the plurality of medical images studied.
