  • Publication number: 20230227643
Abstract: A process for increasing the chemical resistance of a polymeric composition is provided. The method includes a step of blending: a) the (meth)acrylic polymer AP1 and b) a copolymer CP1. The copolymer CP1 includes at least 41 wt % of vinyl aromatic monomer units by weight of the copolymer CPI. The polymeric composition includes at least 5 wt % of the copolymer CP1, by weight of the polymeric composition. A chemical resistance of the polymeric composition is better than a chemical resistance of the (meth)acrylic polymer AP1 without CP1. Chemical resistance is measured by a time to crack at 120° C. when subjected to an outer radius bending strain of 75% and wetted with a cloth soaked in isopropanol 99%.

  • Patent number: 10934425
Abstract: The present invention relates to apolymeric(meth) acrylic composition comprising polymeric silicone particles and optionally polymeric (meth)acrylic particles. In particular the present invention relates to a polymeric(meth) acrylic composition comprising polymeric silicone particles having a weight average particle diameter between 1 ?m and 10 ?m and optionally polymeric (meth)acrylic particles with a having a weight average particle diameter between 30 ?m and 100 ?m. The present invention concerns also the use of such apolymeric (meth) acrylic composition comprising polymeric silicone particles and optionally polymeric (meth)acrylic particles as a masterbatch. The present invention concerns also a process for making a (meth)acrylic composition comprising polymeric silicone particles and polymeric (meth)acrylic particles from a polymeric(meth) acrylic masterbatch composition comprising polymeric silicone particles and optionally polymeric (meth)acrylic particles.

  • Patent number: 10040726
Abstract: A method for producing a composite insulating mineral block, includes providing a mineral masonry block including at least one cell with walls having a water absorption rate of less than 5 g/(m2·s) at 10 minutes, and filling the cell with a mineral cement foam, wherein a cement used to produce the mineral cement foam has an aluminum oxide content of less than 20% by weight of the cement.

  • Patent number: 9915065
Abstract: A process for producing a mineral foam includes (i) separately preparing one or more slurries of cement, and an aqueous foam for which a D50 of bubbles is less than or equal to 400 ?m; (ii) homogenizing the one or more slurries of cement with the aqueous foam to obtain a slurry of foamed cement; (iii) casting the slurry of foamed cement and leaving the cast slurry of foamed cement to set.

  • Patent number: 9511510
Abstract: A method for controlling at least one workability parameter of a concrete contained in the container of a mixer with a non vertical rotational axis, includes making the container turn at least at least two different rotational speeds; determining, for each of the rotational speeds, a rotary drive torque C of the container, a value of shear stress r of the concrete and a speed gradient ? of the concrete according to the following relationships: ?=T(?)·C and ?=G(?). ? where T and G are predetermined functions; determining a relationship of variation of shear stress ? according to the speed gradient ? by extrapolation and/or approximation from the determined values; and providing an indication of the workability parameter of the concrete based on the relationship variation.
