  • Publication number: 20070050027
Abstract: A leak-proof implantable breast prosthesis and a method for making the prosthesis. The breast prosthesis comprises an elastically deformable body or core which is encased within a flexible biocompatible elastomeric shell. In one embodiment, the deformable body is attached, in segments, to the inner surface of the shell by adhesive means and has shape-memory. In another embodiment, the shell encases the core but is not attached to the core. When the outer shell of the prosthesis is subjected to a deforming force, the prosthesis deforms then returns to an original shape when the deforming force is removed. In the event that the shell is ruptured, the prosthesis cannot leak exogenous filler fluid into the surrounding tissue because the prosthesis is substantially void of exogenous filler fluid.

  • Patent number: 4574516
Abstract: An outrigger or downrigger fishing clip comprises a U-shaped arm pivoted to a body to define a cavity between the arm and body in which is positioned a roller journaled in the arm so that a fishing line extending through the clip between the arm and body rides friction-free over the roller. Shrouds extend from the body over the roller ends to prevent a line from slipping over the ends of the roller and getting caught between the roller ends and the pivoted arm. A latch link spans the arm and body, extending through outwardly opening mating recesses in the arm and body and has a cam element engaging the free end of the roller of the shaft. The latch link is resiliently pressed against the body within the recess to provide a selectively adjustable force that resists pivotal release of the arm and of the tensioned fishing line entrained over the roller.

  • Patent number: 4428142
Abstract: An outrigger fishing clip comprises a U-shaped arm pivoted to a body to define a cavity between the arm and body in which is positioned one side of a roller journaled in the arm so that a fishing line extending through the clip between the arm and body rides friction-free over the roller. A latch member spans the arm and body having a cam element engaging the free end of the pivoted arm and resiliently pressed against the body to provide a predetermined adjustable force that resists pivotal release of the arm and of the tensioned fishing line entrained over its roller.

  • Patent number: 4004373
Abstract: An extrusion for receiving and interconnecting laminated panel sections for quick construction of partitions or enclosures is disclosed. The extrusions form frame members for the partitions or enclosures and are designed to permit quick assembly and disassembly of building structures without the use of fasteners. The extrusions include channel portions adapted to receive the edges of the panels, the panels being grooved and adapted to snap into the corresponding channels. The extrusions may be H-shaped in cross section for forming panels into a flat partition or wall, may be formed with a channel on one side and adapted to receive door or window fittings on the other side, or may be formed in a corner unit configuration to permit joining of panels at right angles. The corner unit extrusion includes two interlocking half members which define a central cavity for receiving a rigid pipe, which prevents the interlocking members from being separated.
