  • Patent number: 11035178
Abstract: A transportation apparatus for moving a workover rig includes a first and a second pony substructure. A joist connects the first pony substructure to the second pony substructure. At least one stomper is operably connected to each of the first and second pony substructures for moving the transportation apparatus from a first location to a second location. The first and second pony substructures are configured to receive a vehicle that is configured as a workover rig. A proximal end of a first guide wire attaches to the walking structure, and a distal end of the guide wire attaches to the workover rig to stabilize the workover rig atop the transportation apparatus.

  • Patent number: 11010483
Abstract: Data security access and management may require a server dedicated to monitoring document access requests and enforcing rules and policies to limit access to those who are not specifically identified as having access to the data. One example of operation may include selecting data to access via a user device, applying at least one policy to the data that limits access to the data to user profiles assigned privileges to the policy, encrypting the data, generating metadata indicating the policy and pairing the metadata with the data, and storing the data and the metadata in a policy server.

  • Publication number: 20210095738
Abstract: A multiple frequency vibration attenuation device comprises a mass portion and a spring portion and may attenuate vibrations at two or more different frequencies. The shape and mass of the mass portion is dependent on the spring rate and lateral bending rate of the spring and the frequencies that are desired to be attenuated. In an embodiment, two or more of the natural frequencies of the multiple frequency vibration attenuation device match the vibration frequencies of an aircraft system that are desired to be attenuated.

  • Publication number: 20200342364
Abstract: Communications over short-range connections are used to facilitate whether access to resources is to be granted. For example, upon device discovery of one of an electronic user device and an electronic client device by the other device over a Bluetooth Low Energy connection, an access-enabling code associated with a user device or account can be evaluated for validity and applicability with respect to one or more particular resource specifications. User identity can be verified by comparing the user against previously obtained biometric information.

  • Patent number: 10798987
Abstract: The subject matter of the present disclosure relates, in various embodiments, to improved footwear in the nature of sandals, shoes, sports shoes, running and jogging shoes, civilian and military boots, work boots and work shoes, water shoes, waders, and the like, for personal use in walking on sand and other granular terrain, each item of footwear comprising a distinctively profiled outsole. A left outsole profile is defined by a first radius, and a right outsole profile is defined by a second radius. A line connecting the center of each radius passes through and defines the centers of the side profiles of the outsole. A preferred toe-out or progressive angle of approximately six degrees helps ensure that the outsole, during use, is near the widest position for optimal left and right side balance.

  • Publication number: 20200270682
Abstract: Embodiments of the invention include systems, apparatus, and methods for detecting copy number variation (CNV) in the genomes of one or more patients. Samples of DNA may be taken from several patients, and then sections of the patients' DNA may be sequenced, e.g., through a process that may include, for each patient, one or more of: purifying, concentrating, fragmenting, labeling, filtering, and amplifying that patient's DNA. Fragments from several patients may be pooled, and the fragments in the pool may be sequenced. The sequencing data is then subjected to analysis, which includes several normalization steps. The normalized data are then examined to identify CNV, which is reported.

  • Patent number: 10742818
Abstract: A method is disclosed for wireless density-based on-the-fly codec and radio frequency link type selection. The method includes storing a link quality value, and scanning a plurality of timeslots across a plurality of wireless carriers. The method also includes calculating, based on the scanning, an average radio frequency density level for a time period. Still yet, the method includes calculating a current density level based on the link quality value and the average radio frequency density level. Further, the method includes selecting, based on the current density level, a codec from a plurality of stored codecs. The selected codec is associated with a link type. Moreover, the method includes receiving a command to open a wireless link, and, in response to the command, opening the wireless link using the selected codec and the associated link type.

  • Patent number: 10663449
Abstract: Elevated temperature liquid testing apparatus and methodology in which a thin film of test liquid and a reactant/control gas are provided about the top of a depositor member that is surrounded by a special mantle, for example, a substantially cylindrically walled glass mantle. As an oxidative engine oil test, it may mimic turbocharger conditions of a modern internal combustion engine. For example, employing moist air, the apparatus can test a thin film of engine oil for oxidation deposits at a predetermined temperature, say, 285° C., 290° C., or cycled between 285° C. or 290° C. and 320° C. or 330° C.
