The air-stream gatherer includes an outward vent and an in-drawing vent, and is positioned to enable objects, such as the user's feet, to be placed between the outward and in-drawing vents. The air stream is configured to dislodge and capture particles from objects, such as the user's feet, that block the air-stream between the vents.

Significant reduction of the demagnetization energy near the MR-to-permanent magnet junction is achieved, particularly in the use of an elliptically shaped conductive region and the resultant generally coplanar device is readily fabricated and reproducible using a self-aligning process. The longitudinal bias technique described can be used in conjunction with all known transverse bias techniques.

    Abstract: A modular enclosure for personal computer systems, and methods for assembly of an enclosure. The enclosure substantially comprises a base, a unitary internal frame, a front and a back panel, and a U-shaped top cover. Frame-mounting snaps and cruciform members located on forward and rear portions of the frame mate to complimentary receiving openings in the base. Front and rear panels are mounted to the base, frame, and top cover by a plurality of panel-mounting snaps and hooks. A base electromagnetic interference (EMI) shield at the periphery of the shield having a plurality of planar tabbed fingers with hemispherical domes formed therein is then fitted and secured to the base such that the lateral edges of the fingers are recessed below a peripherally extending rim on the base. Thereafter, the internal frame is snapped into place upon the base, and a rear panel having an EMI shield fitted and secured to the base and frame by panel-mounting snaps and hooks.

    Abstract: An inner string cementing adapter for use in cementing a casing in a well bore. The adapter comprises a mandrel which may be attached to a lower end of a work string and a seal assembly positioned adjacent to the mandrel. The seal assembly is designed for sealing engagement with a substantially flat upper surface of floating equipment in the casing. A seal retainer is provided for retaining the seal assembly on the mandrel. The seal assembly comprises a reinforcing insert positioned adjacent to a downwardly facing surface of the mandrel and an elastomeric seal attached to a downwardly facing surface of the insert. The seal is sized such that the outside diameter thereof is larger than a central opening defined in the floating equipment. An inner string cementing tool using the adapter and a method of inner string cementing are also disclosed.
