  • Patent number: 8315687
Abstract: An ECG monitoring device comprises an integral handheld device including a ECG electronic module and an electrode patch having a plurality of electrodes which contact a subject by conductive hydrogel. A release liner covers and protects the hydrogel prior to use and is removed to expose the hydrogel. A second release liner is removed to expose a pressure sensitive adhesive by means of which the device is attached to a subject. The first and second release liners may be parts of a single release liner layer. After use the electrode patch is disposable and the ECG electronic module is detached from the patch for reuse.

  • Patent number: 8300536
Abstract: A method for providing real time indicator of voice transmission quality in a Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP) network is disclosed. The method allows to receive, at regular time interval during a call, a digital signature from a source call device. The received signature is compared to a referential signature stored on the destination devices, and in case the received signature falls out of the referential signature, a quality indication message is transmitted back to the source call device.

  • Patent number: 8297131
Abstract: A flow rate meter that includes a container of known and fixed volume. Electrodes, or sensors, are placed inside the container at several different heights. An electronic circuit uses the electrodes, or sensors, to measure the time it takes this container of known and fixed volume to fill a certain distance with water or water-based solution. The electronic circuit calculates the flow rate in engineering units from this elapsed time by knowing the volume of the container between the fixed electrodes.
