  • Patent number: 9415651
Abstract: A rear castor wheel for a tractor includes a beam carried on a fork which connects to a castor mounting assembly attached to a rear pivotal beam of the tractor. A suspension system connects the fork to the mounting assembly to provide suspension movement and includes a first transverse plate assembly attached to the mounting assembly intersected by a second plate assembly attached across the two sides of the fork. The plates are connected by a single elastomeric block located on a first side of the axis remote from the beam and two elastomeric blocks located between the first and second plate assemblies on a side of the axis closer to the beam so that upward movement of the beam causes compression of the first and second elastomeric blocks which are shaped such that the internal strain of the block as the beam moves upwardly is substantially uniform through the block.

  • Publication number: 20160233374
Abstract: A method of passivating semiconductor devices using existing tools of junction isolation and phosphosilicate glass (PSG)/borosilicate glass (BSG) etch via room temperature wet chemical growth (RTWCG) processes is provided. Back side processing of the semiconductor device achieves passivation and junction isolation in a single step, while front side processing achieves passivation, PSG/BSG etch, anti-reflection coating and potential induced degradation (PID) mitigation simultaneously. A modified solar cell fabrication method is then provided by integrating the passivation formation method into conventional solar cell manufacturing systems. The resulting solar cells comprise a semiconductor substrate having a front surface and a back surface. The front surface is coated with a SiOx layer less than 50 nm thick, over which a SiNx layer is deposited. On the back surface, another SiOx layer is coated. Experimental data shows high efficiency and mitigated PID of the solar cells.

  • Patent number: 9340588
Abstract: Among the fewer than 10 proteins primarily secreted by the species Lactobacillus plantarum, there is one of 30 kDa that contains an internal fragment without cleavage sites for the most important intestinal proteases and characterized by having a serine and threonine content of at least 50%. The genetic information encoded in this fragment, designated ST peptide, has been used for producing and purifying the peptide, thus making it possible to conduct various tests in vitro. To summarize, the ST peptide is considered to promote the process of immunologic ignorance of our gastrointestinal immune system toward the commensal bacteria of our gastrointestinal tract, thus favoring the mechanisms of oral tolerance. Therefore the ST peptide could be used in immunotherapy, especially in the context of certain autoimmune diseases and certain inflammatory diseases.
