Abstract: Disclosed is a valve trim design for use in reducing valve cavitation. Valve and seat are axially movable and have frustoconical facing surfaces which form an annulus therebetween to control flow. The seat has an external frustoconical surface and a plurality of pairs of ports communicating with an internal bore. The ports are aligned so that flow from the ports impinge upon each other within the interior chamber of the valve seat to reduce cavitation.

Abstract: An actuator control system is disclosed using fluid dispensing means to selectively add or remove fluid from a closed actuator system, whereby the movement of the actuator is volume rather than pressure responsive.

Abstract: Disclosed is a bellows control valve with means to pressurize the bellows chamber to very high pressure without creating a significant detrimental differential pressure across the bellows.

Abstract: An orienting system for a kickover tool to permit the installation and/or removal of well equipment from a side pocket mandrel. The system includes a double orienting means to position the kickover tool in a non-aligned position as the tool moves downwardly and in an aligned position as the tool moves upwardly and a single key on the kickover tool to engage each of the orienting means.
