Publication number: 20110209786Abstract: The present invention discloses apparatuses, systems, and methods for utilizing oil-free gas in a gas processing system. In some embodiments, an oil-free or “dry” gas is provided by a gas source to an oil-free compressor, such as a dry seal compressor, which charges a receiver vessel or vessels, which then provides the oil-free gas to at least one piece of processing equipment, such as an injection compressor or compressors for use in EOR, carbon sequestration, sour gas injection, or other gas handling operations. The methods and systems may include a controller for charging the receiver vessel when the pressure in the vessel decreases below a low pressure threshold and reducing the charging flow rate when the pressure in the vessel meets or exceeds a high pressure threshold in the vessel, thereby maintaining an operational pressure in the vessel.Type: ApplicationFiled: August 19, 2009Publication date: September 1, 2011Inventors: Peter C. Publication number: 20110173176Abstract: Computer system and method automatically generate a social interest network. The social interest network indicates or represents (1) respective relevance between system users and taggers, and (2) respective affinity between users and taggers. A tag-based search engine searches and retrieves tagged contents. The search engine also retrieves semantic information associated with the tagged contents and tagger. Semantic information about the searcher-user is compared to the search retrieved semantic information. A comparator determines respective relevance of taggers to the searcher-user and respective affinity of the searcher-user to the taggers. The social interest network results and enables collaboration between users/taggers and filtering of various search results.Type: ApplicationFiled: December 16, 2009Publication date: July 14, 2011Applicant: INTERNATIONAL BUSINESS MACHINES CORPORATIONInventors: James E. Publication number: 20110153597Abstract: An expertise locator enables user defined correspondences between experts and respective certain objects. Each object inherits from classes in a hierarchy. Using the correspondences, a locator processor routine finds a candidate expert about a particular subject area. The candidate expert may be in a correspondence with a certain object whose class is a subclass of the particular subject area. Output may display an indication of the candidate expert, relevant expertise per candidate and/or a list of experts per certain object. In the case of the certain objects being topics, the hierarchy is an ontology of the topics.Type: ApplicationFiled: December 18, 2009Publication date: June 23, 2011Applicant: International Business Machines CorporationInventors: James E. Publication number: 20110153639Abstract: A computer-based method and system for just-in-time semantic information retrieval is disclosed. A user interface detects user interaction with a displayed semantic entity. In response, a search member uses semantic information about the displayed entity and automatically searches for information about the subject entity. The search employs system and/or external knowledge bases and returns highly relevant results and information with increased specificity due to the semantic basis. A sidebar unobtrusively displays to the user the search results initially obtained without user request or demand, i.e., on the user's behalf. The sidebar enables the user to dismiss the search results and to effectively copy or export the search results as desired.Type: ApplicationFiled: December 18, 2009Publication date: June 23, 2011Applicant: INTERNATIONAL BUSINESS MACHINES CORPORATIONInventors: James E. Patent number: 7676162Abstract: Branches are grouped into a group 1 including first and second branches, and a group 2 including third and fourth branches. The signal after being passed through a dual pin photodiode in one branch included in the group 1 and being at the earlier stage of a CDR circuit is obtained. Also, from the later stage of the CDR circuit in the other branch in the group 1 is obtained. The obtained signals are passed through low pass filters, and an average value over a plurality of symbols is obtained. The signal from the earlier stage of the CDR circuit is multiplied by the signal from the later stage, and they are averaged. The obtained value reflects the phase difference of the two delay interferometers in the group 1. The group 2 is monitored by using the same method.Type: GrantFiled: November 29, 2006Date of Patent: March 9, 2010Assignee: Fujitsu LimitedInventors: Akihiko Isomura, Jens C.
