  • Publication number: 20180317457
Abstract: A submodule and the associated device for varying/adjusting the height of the plate supporting vaccine/nutrient injectors for adapting the ratio between the path of the needle and egg size, used in a substance application module of an egg vaccination/nutrition system and equipment, represents a solution in the field of poultry farming, in particular in the poultry breeding sector, and is particularly useful when applied to aid the operation of the application of vaccines, nutrients and/or nutritional vaccinal complexes to fertile eggs by injection into the egg, characterised in that, whatever the size of the eggs [Ov] in the batch, large eggs [Og], medium eggs [Om] or small eggs [Op], the introduction of a submodule for adjusting the height of the injectors [m32] in the substance application module [m3], using an actuation device [6], the operation of which is controlled by data regarding the size of the eggs [Ov] in the batch, allows an unprecedented protection of the embryo [O5] from contact with the needle

  • Publication number: 20180242560
Abstract: A system and method for determining and managing the volume and concentration of sanitiser optimised for use in a method for disinfecting an intra-ovum substance application module, with information on the average size of the vaccinated and/or fed fertile eggs being used as the paradigm, represent a solution in the field of poultry farming, in particular in the poultry breeding sector, particularly useful to aid the disinfection of the components of operational modules of the breeding system, in particular the substance application module [E12], adding value in that it ensures that a volume of prepared concentrated sanitiser (Sa31) with assured quality is obtained, especially in that it exhibits titration with a concentration suitable for the batch of vaccinated/fed fertile eggs, ensuring the suitability and effectiveness in respect to the true mean age of the matrix batch, determined as a function of average egg size (Tm1), wherein for that purpose the system of the invention was designed with an architectur

  • Publication number: 20180235188
Abstract: An improvement to a functional module for the selective application of substances inside fertile eggs represents an inventive solution in the field of poultry fanning, in particular in the field of poultry breeding, and more specifically in the step of application of vaccines and/or nutrients into fertile eggs by injection, this improvement reducing the risk of violation of biological safety, and ensuring the integrity and survival of the embryo (Em), limiting intra-ovum nutritional supplementation to the amniotic fluid (Li) only, without contact of the needle (a13) with the embryo (Em), and to achieve this condition the module for the selective application of substances inside fertile eggs (Ov) has a structure composed of an injector selector submodule (m1), a selective operation actuation submodule (m2), a speed control submodule (m3) and a common perforator/needle return submodule (m4).

  • Publication number: 20180228133
Abstract: An improvement to a needle for unnoculating nutrients into the inner environment of fertile eggs represents an inventive solution in the field of poultry farming, in particular in the sector of poultry breeding, specifically in the industry of equipment for the application of fluids into fertile eggs, in order to render nutrition feasible and effective in the pre-hatching stage of fertile eggs (Ov), being particularly useful for protecting the embryo, avoiding the direct intramuscular injection of nutrient into the embryo. An improved injection tool (4) has been designed for that purpose in the form of an injection needle with a rounded free end (42) and with a plurality of openings (43) next to same, through which the nutrient is injected, while the rounded free end (42) prevents piercing of the embryo (Em).
