    Abstract: A method of making a photolithography mask for use in creating an electrical fuse on a semiconductor structure comprises initially determining a pattern for a desired electrical fuse, with the pattern including a fuse portion of substantially constant width except for a localized narrowed region of the fuse portion at which the electrical fuse is designed to blow. The method then includes providing a photolithography mask substrate and creating on the photolithography mask substrate a fuse mask element adapted to absorb transmission of an energy beam. The fuse mask element has a first mask portion of substantially constant width corresponding to the desired electrical fuse pattern portion of substantially constant width, and a second mask portion corresponding to the localized narrowed region of the fuse portion. The second mask portion comprises either an additional mask element spaced from the first mask portion, a narrowed width portion, or a gap in the first mask portion.

    Abstract: A data pipeline is secured in a computer system for the delivery of secure, confidential or proprietary content such as audio, video, software, copyrighted media, etc. A third party application seeks authentication information in connection with a request to deliver data to a unique medium. The system includes driver software of a host as an interface between a storage device and the third party software application, the storage device and the unique medium. The system enables authentication of the link between the third party application and the driver software by providing third party application developers a toolkit or API for interacting with the driver software. The toolkit includes means to request and decrypt an encrypted driver software digital signature previously generated based on the host's driver software and to compare the digital signature with a second digital signature generated at runtime based on the host's driver software.

    Abstract: A system is provided for controlling the time at which a durable item, such as a reticle used in a lithography process in semiconductor manufacturing, is requalified for use. A counting device counts occurrences of predefined events, such as the number of jobs in which the reticle is used or the number of times it is placed in a lithography tool. The reticle is not removed from use until a limiting number of jobs or tool placements is reached, or the reticle is needed for processing the requalification job. The system also includes a requalification device for the durable item.

    Abstract: An improved process for the separation of cellulosic fiber from difficult to process coated and inked paper products is disclosed and claimed. This process readily separates the paper pulp fraction substantially free of contaminants from such waste paper products as single and two side polymeric coated board having wet strength resin, single and two side polymeric coated board having no wet strength resin, single and two-sided glossy printer trimmings, ultraviolet (UV) cured ink coated stocks, and mixtures thereof. Preferred embodiments include a process in an inclined pressure vessel equipped with agitating and rotating means operative to reflux the waste material with respect to the inclined axis of the vessel in the presence of steam and chemical aids for a sufficient period of time so as to bring about repulping and separation of the paper fiber fraction and formation of a contaminant-collecting polymer phase.

    Abstract: A data storage disk having a latent illuminance discrimination marker for determining whether the data storage disk is suitable for use in a disk drive. A light source illuminates the marker and the marker emits illuminance, preferably as phosphorescence. A detector detects the emitted illuminance, and a predetermined characteristic of the marker in the frequency domain is determined. The frequency domain response may be either a phase response or an amplitude response, or both. The frequency domain response provides identification of different types or generations of data storage disks or provides a secure keying mechanism for authorized access to proprietary software.

    Abstract: A one-piece speed wrench has a handle and two engagement prongs joined at an engagement area. One prong, the in-line prong, may be parallel with the length of the handle. The other prong, an offset angle prong, contains at least one notch. The notch has two faces. When viewed from the side, one face, the inboard face closest to the engagement area between the two prongs, is at an angle with the face of the in-line prong. The inboard face of each notch is in a preferred embodiment approximately a third as long as each face of the hexagonal fastener. The outboard face adjacent to the inboard face of each notch is at a decreasing angle with the in-line prong in the direction away from the prong engagement area. This decreasing angle of the outboard face of each notch allows for a ratcheting effect. There may be more than one notch, with each notch corresponding to a different size hexagonal fastener.

The systems and methods include formulating at least a single mother batch of dope in a vessel preferably maximizing the non-solvent to solvent ratio for a given weight percentage of polymer for use in a microporous phase inversion membrane production operation to produce three-zone phase inversion membranes having one of a plurality of different predetermined pore sizes in any or all of the three zones. The at least one mother dope batch is controllably formulated in at least one vessel such that the temperature of the dope does not exceed a predetermined maximum mixing temperature and is maintained at a relatively low temperature (lower than the mixing temperature) suitable for storage.

    Abstract: A display case is provided for displaying collectible items such as photographs, trading cards, stamps or coins. The display case includes a compartment for holding the collectible and a magnifying lens for viewing the details of at least one side of the collectible. An opening is provided in the compartment to allow the insertion of the collectible. The collectible is sealed in the compartment by a seal. By sealing the collectible within the compartment of such a display case, the collectible is not only protected from physical damage, it is also protected from exposure to moisture, air and any airborne contaminants. The magnifying lens permits the details of the collectible to be viewed without fear of damage to the collectible as may occur with physical handling. The seal may be either temporary or permanent. A temporary seal is useful where a collector desires to display different collectibles in a single display case at different times.

    Abstract: A chassis inverter consisting of a set of clamps that hold a mobile vehicle chassis and a hydraulic driven rotary actuator. The apparatus and an overhead crane system provide a method of inverting and transferring chassis in a short time period needed to meet high volume vehicle manufacturing needs. The apparatus consists of two c-shaped clamps that cradle the chassis. The clamps are assembled to a shaft that is driven by a hydraulic cylinder through a sprocket and chain arrangement that provides a full inversion of the chassis. One clamp has a motorized trolley that provides adjustment needed for handling chassis of widely varying wheelbase. The process involves an overhead crane system with a bridge crane section that provides the necessary broadside loading motion, and an interlocking monorail section that allows the hoist carriers to exit the bridge and travel perpendicularly to the inverting apparatus' loading direction.
