  • Publication number: 20220209973
Abstract: The present invention discloses a power supply method having power management mechanism that includes the steps outlined below. Power request information of power requesting devices is retrieved to generate a to-be-powered device list and a requested power. Whether a current requesting device satisfy a power stable criteria and a power sufficient criteria is determined, The power stable criteria is satisfied when the power requesting devices each having a priority higher than that of the current requesting device all operate in a powered mode or when the power requesting devices that operate in the powered mode enter a stable operation status. The power sufficient criteria is satisfied when a stable system remained power of a power supply system is not smaller than an individual requested power of the current requesting device. When the criteria are satisfied, the current requesting device is operated in the powered mode to update the requested power.

  • Patent number: 10599013
Abstract: The disclosed technology is directed to a floating system capable of facilitating transmitting underwater signals (e.g., images captured underwater) to an abovewater device. The system includes a first housing, a second housing, an antenna, a signal emitter, a signal converter, and a signal interface. The first and second housings collectively form an enclosed space. The antenna is vertically positioned on the top surface of the first main body. The signal emitter and the signal converter are positioned in the enclosed space and coupled to the antenna. The signal interface is positioned on the bottom surface of the second housing and coupled to the converter. A user can connect an underwater camera to the signal interface and transmit images captured underwater to another abovewater device through the floating system.

  • Patent number: 10027889
Abstract: The present disclosure is directed to a backup battery device. The backup battery device includes a housing, a power button, two connecting feed points, a charging interface, an indicator, a battery, a processor, and a voltage-converter. One of the two connection feed point is coupled to the indicator and further coupled to the battery. The battery is further coupled to the charging interface and the processor. The processor is coupled to the voltage-converter. The backup battery device further includes a manual button. When a user wants to charge a camera (which has two camera feed points corresponding to the two connecting feed point), the user connects the camera feed points with the connecting feed points and then presses the manual button. The processor then controls the charging process by enabling the battery to provide power to the camera. After sufficient amount of electricity has been transferred to the camera, the charging process can be stopped so as to protect the camera.

  • Publication number: 20060203645
Abstract: The invention relates to an apparatus and method of determining a value of a write/erase power parameter (Ptarget) for writing/erasing information on an optical recording medium by means of a radiation beam. The method is based on the curve-fitting of a function by a set of parameters a-b-c, said function establishing a relation between a product of the power level (P) of the radiation beam with a modulation factor (M) of the recorded signals, and the power level (P). The set of parameters are thus used for solving an equation establishing a relation between a gamma curve and the power level (P), the solution of said equation being considered as the optimum value of the write/erase power parameter (Ptarget). An optimum power level (Popt) can thus be derived from the write/erase power parameter (Ptarget). Use: writing/erasing of an optical recording medium.
