In one or more implementations, the light sensor comprises a semiconductor device (e.g., a die) that includes a substrate. A photodetector (e.g., photodiode, phototransistor, etc.) is formed in the substrate proximate to the surface of the substrate. In one or more implementations, the substrate comprises a silicon on insulator substrate (SOI). A filter (e.g., absorption filter, interference filter, flat pass filter, McKinlay-Diffey Erythema Action Spectrum-based filter, UVA/UVB filter, and so forth) is disposed over the photodetector. The filter is configured to filter infrared light and visible light from light received by the light sensor to at least substantially block infrared light and visible light from reaching the photodetector.

The driving assembly includes a cam indexer engaging with the cutter storing frame for rotating the cutter storing frame. The sensing assembly is mounted on the cam indexer, and the sensor senses the rotation of the cam indexer to establish the static position and the rotation required of the cutter magazine. The present disclosure further provides a machine tool using the cutter switching system.

The switch is electrically connected to a control system of a main spindle of a CNC turning machine and is applied for controlling the movement of the main spindle. The elastic member is compressed to elastically resist with the sleeve and generates an elastic force to make the sleeve move away from the switch, and the sleeve is slidably configured along the inner surface of the housing to contact the switch to stop the movement of the main spindle of the CNC turning machine.

Each clamping assembly includes a mounting member, an elastic member, a piston, and at least one resisting member. The elastic member and the piston are sleeved with the mounting member, and the two opposite ends of the elastic member press against the piston and the mounting member. The resisting member is mounted between the elastic member and the mounting member, and capable of being resisted by the piston to be partially exposed from the mounting hole.
