Abstract: The invention provides a method for determining the allocation of a transaction cluster to a plurality of computing systems. For the plurality of computing systems there is obtained a baseline indicator of the time taken to execute a baseline transaction cluster. The allocation of transactions in the cluster is modified and the modified cluster is executed to determine the time taken to execute the modified cluster.
