Abstract: The disclosed systems and methods provide a novel framework that assembles a musical profile for a user based on the user's musical tastes and experiences, whereby digital relationships can be established based therefrom which enables digital and real-world interactions between users of such relationships. The disclosed framework provides social-based functionality for discovering individuals as well as new forms of music content. The framework combines social networking functionality with music streaming functionality in a novel way that enables users to discover each other based on music renderings, as well as discover additional music to render. The disclosed systems and methods, therefore, provide a novel way for connecting users on a deeper level than previously existed prior to the advent of the disclosed audio and social-based electronic network, which enables cross-demographic, music-based compatibility to drive user engagement, and user and content discovery.

Abstract: The disclosed system provides a novel framework that includes an on-device electronic badge configured with presence broadcasting, monitoring, and communication platforms for interaction with other on-device and networked applications and badges. The disclosed badge can be configured to be dynamically generated (or assembled) based on a set of identifying information related to the user. A generated badge can be utilized to interact with other users and/or interact with activities at particular events, which can occur in the digital realm (e.g., online) or in/at physical locations. A badge can also further be utilized for receiving recommended content.
