Abstract: Systems and methods are provided for modifying webpages. In some embodiments, a computer-implemented system can include: an authoring component configured to generate and output a file of metadata indicating contents for a new webpage and specifying a template for the new webpage. The system also includes a transformer component configured to receive the file of metadata indicating contents for the new webpage and specifying the template, and merge, with the template, the file of metadata. The transformer component is also configured to automatically generate a file describing the new webpage, wherein the new webpage is based, at least, on the contents for the new webpage and the template.

Abstract: Implementations of customizable graphical user interfaces for data management in computing systems are disclosed herein. In one example, a computer application is executed on a computing device to provide a graphical user interface having a background containing multiple interface regions separate from one another and individually having a corresponding data source. Upon receiving a command from a user, the executed computer application can customize the graphical user interface by modifying a size, a relative placement, a data source, or a format of one or more of the multiple interface regions in accordance with the command from the user, and thus allowing customization of the graphical user interface.

Abstract: An operating system that includes a time user interface module that presents a time user interface on a display. The time user interface allowing a change in focal date and displays external time-associated data as instructed. An application program interface communicatively couples one or more non-native programs with the time user interface module, to thereby allow the one or more non-native programs to provide time-associated data and corresponding presentation instructions to the time user interface module. This causes the time user interface to display the external time-associated data sourced from a non-native program responsive to instructions from the non-native program.
