Abstract: A device for controlling a valve situated in a pipeline. The device has a frame, housing, a motor, a coupling, a controller, and a communication module. The housing is supported on the frame and has at least one opening. The motor has a body and a rotatable shaft. The body is position within the housing and the shaft extends through the housing opening. The coupling has a first end and a second end. The first end is mounted on the shaft. The second end has an opening configured to receive a valve stem of the valve. The controller is configured to direct operation of the motor to move the valve. The communication module is configured to enable remote operation of the motor.
