Abstract: A composite formulation is provided which includes: tadalafil or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof as an active ingredient; and amlodipine or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof as an active ingredient, wherein a total amount of tadalafil and amlodipine is in a range of about 6 parts to about 16 parts by weight based on 100 parts by weight of a total weight of the composite formulation.

Abstract: Disclosed are a pharmaceutical composite capsule formulation comprising 1) an independent irbesartan unit comprising irbesartan or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof; and 2) an independent HMG-CoA reductase inhibitor unit comprising an HMG-CoA reductase inhibitor or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof, and an alkaline additive, wherein said independent units are separated from each other within a capsule, and a method for preparing the same. Designed to prevent an interaction between irbesartan and the HMG-CoA reductase inhibitor, the pharmaceutical composite capsule formulation is improved in stability and dissolution rate, and thus shows great bioavailability. In addition, the formulation is expected to guarantee high drug compliance owing to its small size, and therefore can be applied to the treatment of hypertension and hypercholesterolemia.
