    Abstract: Continuous feed media including an attached laminating layer for printing labels and laminating them. The continuous feed media includes a substrate, an adhesive, and a lining. The substrate has a first face and a second face opposite the substrate from the first face. The first face is divided into a printing portion and a protecting portion laterally adjacent to the printing portion. The adhesive is disposed on the protecting portion and the lining is disposed on the adhesive. The adhesive is configured to selectively release the lining. The protecting portion is configured to adhere to and protect the printing portion when the lining is removed and the protecting portion is positioned to overlie the printing portion.
