  • Patent number: 10851686
Abstract: The present invention is an internal combustion engine composed of a plurality of cylinders arranged into banks. Located near the mid-point of each bank of cylinders is a section formed with passages that are configured to provide distribution and recovery of cooling and lubrication fluids. This section is located such that the path of these fluids begins and ends at a mid-point so as to provide a shortened path across each half of the bank of cylinders within which the section is located.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: June 10, 2016
Date of Patent: December 1, 2020
    Assignee: Sixteen Power, LLC
    Inventors: Caleb Newman, Thomas Robinson
  • Publication number: 20200370392
Abstract: An embodiment of the present invention utilizes a frac plug having an extremely short length. The extremely short length minimizes the amount of dissolvable material that must be utilized in order to maintain the physical integrity of the plug without unduly deforming the cone. Relatively uniform loading of the cone is accomplished by circumferentially locking the slip sections in place during setting. A sufficient quantity of sealing material is provided by angling the slip surface to a degree that allows a sufficient quantity of elastomer or other sealing material to be used in conjunction with backup rings to prevent the sealing material from extruding down towards the slip.
    Type: Application
    Filed: May 20, 2019
    Publication date: November 26, 2020
    Applicant: Advanced Frac Systems LLC
Inventors: Henry Joe Jordan, JR., Ryan Ward, Caleb Newman
  • Patent number: 10385811
Abstract: An air intake manifold for an internal combustion engine having a top shell and a base weldment. The base weldment is formed by permanent joining of a bottom shell having a plurality of air outlets with a runner assembly having a plurality of runner components each having an air inlet and an air outlet, wherein the plurality of runner components are attached to one another via a support member to form the runner assembly.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: October 31, 2015
Date of Patent: August 20, 2019
    Assignee: MSD LLC
Inventors: Caleb Newman, Otis Ferguson, Russell Stephens, Jeffrey Sperry
