  • Publication number: 20240143806
Abstract: Methods and systems for managing and/or processing a blockchain to maintain data security for confidential and/or personal data are provided. According to certain aspects, the disclosed data security techniques may enable access sharing functionality utilizing the blockchain. For example, access sharing may be utilized to file documents, share policy information, and/or comply with an audit. The data security techniques disclosed herein also enable the use of smart contracts to transfer funds associated with payment obligations and/or other forms of blockchain based payments, comply with anti-money laundering requirements, report industry data, validate interest payments and/or maintain agent sales data. Data security may be achieved through the use of public key/private key encryption techniques.

  • Patent number: 11954214
Abstract: Methods and systems for managing and/or processing a blockchain to maintain data security for confidential and/or personal data are provided. According to certain aspects, the disclosed data security techniques may enable access sharing functionality utilizing the blockchain. For example, access sharing may be utilized to share policy information. The policy information may be associated with a smart contract. Accordingly, the policy information may be encrypted using a public key for the smart contract and compiled into a block of the blockchain. In response to a request to provide access to the information to a particular node, the private key for the smart contract may be encrypted using the public key for the particular node and compiled into a block of the blockchain.

  • Publication number: 20240111881
Abstract: Methods and systems for processing a blockchain comprising a plurality of immutable sales records corresponding to sales made by agents of an entity are provided. According to certain aspects, a transaction request indicating a sale made by an agent of the entity may be received at a first node. A block including a sales record indicating the sale made by the agent may be added to a blockchain and transmitted to another node for validation. The first node may add the block to a copy of the blockchain, where the block may be identified by a hash value that references a previous block in the blockchain that includes at least one additional sales record.

  • Patent number: 11877775
Abstract: A multiaxial receiver may include a body having a U-shaped cavity configured to receive a longitudinal rod therein and a lower cavity configured to couple to a pedicle screw. The multiaxial receiver may include a first passageway configured to permit a tether to pass therethrough in the vertical direction. In some embodiments, the multiaxial receiver may also include a second passageway configured to permit a tether to pass therethrough in the horizontal direction. An immobilization assembly including a set screw and a wedge may immobilize the tether. The immobilization assembly may be configured to be rotated from an open position in which the tether is permitted to pass through the first passageway to a closed position in which the tether is immobilized within the first passageway or second passageway by pining the tether against a bearing surface of the first passageway.

  • Publication number: 20220394073
Abstract: Systems and methods are described herein for processing, transmitting and presenting content, such as video content. A computing device playing back content may determine the best opportunities to shift versions or variants of the content that is encoded at different bitrates by shifting at switch points that may have been incorporated into the content stream or associated data. The computing device may determine that network conditions have changed and may then wait to detect a switch point in the content before shifting the bitrate of the content stream. The switch point may be associated with a low action point or a dark point in a scene within the content, or may relate to points in the content that are less likely to interrupt the viewing experience of a user. The computing device may also receive messages such as alerts or notifications at the switch point.

  • Patent number: 11465822
Abstract: A portable container includes a top portion defining a first hollow region configured to store a first product, a bottom portion rotatably coupled to the top portion and defining a second hollow region configured to store a second product, and a sealing mechanism configured to selectively fluidly couple the first and second hollow regions during relative rotation of the top and bottom portions. The sealing mechanism is movable between a closed position in which the first hollow region of the top portion is fluidly isolated from the hollow region of the bottom portion, and an open position in which the first hollow region is fluidly coupled with the second hollow region. Rapid relative rotation of the top and bottom portions causes the sealing mechanism to move from the closed position to the open position.

  • Publication number: 20220210518
Abstract: Telemetry data gathered based on content item output/playback may be used to determine/generate adjustment data that may improve the output/playback experience for future content item output/playback. The adjustment data may cause output/playback adjustments at/by an output device (e.g., a content output device, a content/media player, a client device, a mobile device, a smart device, etc.) to mitigate and/or resolve any output/playback issues caused by one or more errors associated with the content item.

  • Publication number: 20190297841
Abstract: A gravity feeder with a weighted ball includes a hopper having a conical configuration that may be hung from a tree branch. The hopper includes a funnel shaped configuration and defines an open top into which granular feed may be deposited into an interior area of the hopper. A plurality of tubular distribution sections extends from a mouth of the hopper to near the ground for depositing the feed thereon. The gravity feeder includes a heavy spherical ball situated atop the feed in the hopper that pushes the feed downward into the conduit and, in fact, can descend into the distribution sections to ensure the feed is completely deposited.
