    Abstract: The invention relates to a process for separating the inclusions contained in a bath of molten metal, by filtration. This process involves applying an electromagnetic force field to the filtering medium. It allows the total number and the size of the inclusions to be reduced greatly so that the products obtained by solidification of such a bath are highly suitable for transformation.
