  • Patent number: 11919419
Abstract: A method to manage thermal propagation in an energy storage device of a battery electric vehicle is provided. The method includes operating the battery electric vehicle with a plurality of distinct battery cell module groups each separately providing electrical power to the battery electric vehicle. The method further includes, within a computerized battery cell module groups controller, monitoring conditions within the distinct battery cell module groups, determining occurrence of an abnormal event within one of a plurality of the distinct battery cell module groups based upon the monitored conditions, and controlling operation of the battery electric vehicle based upon the determined occurrence of the abnormal event.

  • Publication number: 20240070612
Abstract: Described is a system for inventorying, displaying, monitoring, and selection of fauna items over a communications network. The system includes a conveying system for moving a fauna item from one area to another and attaching a unique identifier to the fauna item. A recording system includes cameras for capturing visual content of the fauna item from multiple perspectives, including an image of the unique identifier. A fauna item record is created in a database for each fauna item which includes the image of the unique identifier and the visual content for the fauna item. Webpage data, which includes the visual content for the fauna item and the image of the unique identifier, is sent to and displayed on consumer devices.

  • Publication number: 20200005198
Abstract: A network computer system operates to monitor a plurality of requester devices to detect activities of requesters, and activities of transportation providers. Based on the monitored activities, the system forecasts a number of requesters that may be present in each of multiple subregions of a given geographic region, during an upcoming time interval. The system further estimates a target number of transportation providers to have available for requesters in each of the subregions. The system determines a supplemental value set for crediting transportation providers, in connection with each individual transport provider performing one or more activities that make the transport provider available to one or more of the multiple subregions during the upcoming time interval.

  • Patent number: 7814084
Abstract: A contact information function associated with a web browser maintains a look-up table of recognizer functions, indexed by regular expressions that specify URLs. Upon a user entering or selecting a URL, the contact information function indexes the look-up table with the URL against the regular expressions. If one or more recognizers are found, the web content returned from the URL is processed by each of the recognizers, which recognize the format of information on that web site, and locate and extract contact information from the web content. The contact information may be saved, formatted, and output to other applications. Updated recognizers may be downloaded from a recognizer server.

  • Patent number: 7629247
Abstract: A method of forming a three-dimensional, non-volatile memory array utilizing damascene fabrication techniques is disclosed. A bottom set of conductors is formed and a set of first pillar shaped elements of heavily doped semiconductor material as formed thereon. A mold is formed of insulating material having pillar shaped openings self-aligned with the first pillar shaped elements and a second semiconductor is deposited over the mold to form second pillar shaped elements aligned with the first pillar shaped elements. The pillar elements formed may be further processed by forming another mold of insulating material having trench openings aligned with the pillar shaped elements and then filling the trenches with conductive material to form conductors coupled to the pillar shaped elements.
